Dear Reader,

We are doing a new web update format.  We have had a busy couple of months, preparing for forum series and other projects.  We have not gotten out the printed version of our newsletter as quickly as we would like to have. We have had people ask us about what is happening with The Mission, and various related projects,  so we decided to send this out in between printed newsletters.

Jesus on non-violence - An up coming article On non-violence and Christianity, has everything to do with the path of discernment and boundaries.

So often the default or common Christian meta-narrative has us clinging to passivity and the Christian as a doormat philosophy. Discussion centers around a third way offered by Jesus as opposed to the first and second way, flight or fight. This third way has been championed by the likes of Martin Luther King jr., Gandhi and others both derived from a biblical foundation.
